Jope Ledua

FOUNDER & CHIEF ENGINEER

Jope served as a military engineer in the British Army for over 25 years, deploying on infrastructure and construction projects across four continents. He brings that same discipline — rigorous planning, working under pressure, and getting it right the first time — to every civilian project in Fiji.

Jope's career in the Royal Engineers covered everything from emergency infrastructure and route construction to camp engineering and project handover in unfamiliar, often difficult environments. That background means South Pacific Engineering Consultants & Construction is run the way a military engineering unit is run: clear scope, clear chain of accountability, and no surprises for the client at handover.

James McGoon

PARTNER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

James leads client relationships, financing structures and business growth for the firm. With a background in development economics and experience working alongside donor-funded programmes across the Pacific, he helps clients — from individual homeowners to government and donor partners — structure projects that are financeable as well as buildable.
